We'll try to help you the best we can.   The Information Centre for Environment & Health. ...is an independent information centre on the environment, health and consumption. The purpose of the center is to provide the consumers with tools to make their everyday life more environmentally friendly and healthy. The information centre is funded by  the Danish Ministry of the Environment. The services of the center are nationwide and open for anybody with interest in the environmental health field. This includes private persons, associations, environmental and consumer organizations as well as private enterprises. The services of the center are free. The Information centre for Environment & Health offers: Telephone consulting Our consultants stand by the telephone and offers advice on almost all questions concerning environmental health matters. "Advice on the environment and consumption". are six booklets with advice on six different topics: Food, Children, Personal Care, The Home, The Garden and Electronics. The build-up of the booklets are two-sided sheets of paper on a subject within one of the topics, which give environmental facts and good advice about for example products for use in the household. From the product is produced, in the daily use and when disposed of.  Environmental news on the Web On the internet (www.miljoeogsundhed.dk) one can find Environmental News of the Week (only in Danish) which is a news service containing news (environmental and health) from around the globe. Chemical database You can also find environmental information on more than 500 chemicals used in cosmetics. Chemicals used in cosmetics, toys, clothes etc. receive great attention by the Green Informationcenter. www.miljoeogsundhed.dk/kd_forside.asp   All materials published is on the net In addition one can find all the 'fact sheets', different reports produced in the center, our press releases, facts about ecolabels, and much more concerning the environment. Green Consultants The centers consultants are also available for lectures and talks in connection with education, seminars and conferences. In addition the consultants write articles and answer questions on environmental matters in several magazines Different information materials on relevant environmental issues. The Green Informationcenter produces reports on relevant aspects in environmental matters and tries to give perspectives on these matters. We make different lists such as 'producers of more environmentally friendly products' and several 'guides' as described in the following. The leaflets focus on a single issue and provides understandable facts and easy advice on how to live more environmentally friendly. We send all materials to the consumers at no cost for them.   Clean information on products for kids A guide that focuses on products especially made for children. In the guide we specifically recommend the products we have found on the market which do not contain chemicals that are environmentally degrading, have hormonal effects or contain perfume. Clean information on product for mothers-to-be: A guide that focuses on the care product offered to pregnant women. In the guide we specifically recommend the products we have found on the market which do not contain chemicals that are environmentally degrading, have hormonal effects or allergens. The garden and the environment A guide which gives good advice on how to tend the garden in an environmentally friendly way - without the use of pesticides and other chemicals. Labeling and the environment A guide that describes the different labels a consumer comes across shopping in the Danish supermarkets and stores in Denmark.
